The mentee is required to meet with the mentor at least once a month at communicate effectively throughout the whole process. If at any time the mentee wishes to discontinue the program, they may choose to do so. We just ask that you notify your mentor.
Each mentee who is looking to pursue a secondary education beyond high school will also be given a connection to Don’t Waste Your College Tuition. This six-week session is normally $250 but will be offered to all D.I.H. mentors for FREE.
Each mentee must fill out an application to have on file. We also ask for transcripts to see what track the mentee is currently on. This is not a requirement at this time but is very helpful to the program.
